Hi there,

This appears to be a Chrome-related thing (works fine in FireFox). They have actively blocked all auto-playing media (including audio), which means this is not something that can be addressed via scripts/etc.

If you think most of your audience is viewing in the Chrome browser, it may be worth turning off the auto-play feature so there is no confusion.

I have installed the Vysual theme on a number of web sites since 2016, and only recently the AutoPlay Audio function is not working anymore. The 'Equalizer' is moving (suggesting there is an audio file playing), but no audio. Have to click it to disable and then click again to play. If I disable Auto Play in Customize, the equalizer is not moving upon loading the site, and playing audio once clicked. But that is not favorable for my sites as I have to mention to viewers to pls click the dotted lines :-( Could you assist? Does it have to do with the fact that you once gave me a code to make the Audio also available on mobile devices? There, I have to click to play (so no Auto Play - but that is understandable). TBTW, all sites have active Widgets... Thank you!
