Hi there,

The built-in widget doesn't have that control, but there are TONS of free plugins out there that support that feature. I recommend just doing a search on your add new plugins page.

Thanks!

Thanks Chris. I was able to assign the News category to the nav menu, and the homepage slider images to the slider only. Now my only question is, is there a way to make the "Recent News" widget only show my News category posts? Right now, it is also listing the slider posts.

Thank you!!

Hi there,

1. By default, the home page shows the most recently published posts, excluding posts in the slider category (to prevent duplicate content). To customize the home page to your needs, please use this request form: http://themolitor.com/custom

2. You can create a "News" category and add the category link to the menu on the menus page.

Thanks!

Chris

Hello! I am hoping to get some help with specifying where my posts appear.

http://ckstrategies.com/testing/

Here is what I'm hoping to achieve:

- Home page: 3 slider images (I figured out how to do this by assigning a category to the slider), + top 2 recent "News" category posts appear in the body of the home page;

- NEWS page: "News" category posts appear here as well

So I guess my question would be, how do I assign "News" category posts to appear on A) the NEWS page, as well as B) the home page body (top 2 recent posts only).

Thank you very much for your advice!!

Renessa
