If I knew an easier/faster option I would have use it. Sorry mate.
It took me all of 15min to manually set things up.

1.Create the mySQL Database
2. Upload Wordpress 3.5 to server and run installation.
You'll need the name of the mySQL Database you set up in step one.
3. Upload theme and activate.

I've made progress. I have Theme Options now appearing!

Instead of using Fantastico De Luxe (cPanel) to install Wordpress,
I setup a mySQL Database, download Workpress 3.5 and manually installed it
then manually placed the theme package in the appropriate directory.

I think the problem was Fantastico De Luxe installed an earlier version of Wordpress
and I then upgraded to 3.5 within Wordpress itself. After upgrading Fantastico De Luxe still had it listed as the previous version.

I have no knowledge of mySQL or Wordpress but got this far...hope this helps someone else having problems.

I deleted the wordpress installation and reinstalled it so everything was back to default.

Upload the 'wpnocturnal' into /wp-content/themes/ and the only Plugins I have listed are 'Hello Dolly' and 'Akismet'?

Hi there,

OptionTree is built into the theme as of v1.2.0 (released 08.08.2012). The plugin is no longer needed. Installing the plugin will cause problems. You'll need to delete all OptionTree files you installed and wipe your wp-options table in your database using PHPmyAdmin.

Thanks!

Chris

I'm having problems getting this theme installed and running.
When I go to Appearance > Theme Options there's nothing there?

Also, when I upload the theme into the wp-content folder it doesn't seem to install 'Option-Tree' into the Plugins > Installed Plugins section. I had to upload the 'Options-Tree' folder into the plugins folder. Could this be the problem?

This is the mess I have at the moment...

http://urbanguerilla.net/meniscus/

I import the posts via to Wordpress > Import > demo_content.xml

I can't find ant step by step instructions about getting this all up and running.
