Would love to replace the "read more" label with the date or day of post?

thanks Justin, but what i really wanted to know is if there is some sort of if/or code that I can use that would show the Read More if there was more to read and if there is nothing to read it would remove it. Sometimes I am adding an image but have no accompanying text to go with it. does that make sense? sorry if im being confusing.

Hey Francovogt,

I would prefer that you do this:

.readMore {display:none}

This will simply hide it as you desire, and if you want me to remove it completely, I can instruct you where it is in the code as well.

You can remove Read More by:

Appearance>Theme Options>Custom CCS> and typing:

.readMore {font-size: 0px}

This will remove Read More for every post and cannot differentiate between one's with or without any extra text.

would love to remove the "read more" label under my posts if there is nothing to read.. i like the label when there is info to go to, but if there is none would be cool to not have it show.

is this possible?
