digdug - I'm having the same problem. I've followed the author's instructions on how to create a post in the "slider" category and add a featured photo. Then in the optiontree settings I assigned the "slider" category to the top slider panel, but I still get just a spinning wheel. I don't even get the map to show, even though it is clicked "on" under the theme options.

I imported the .xml file as you suggested and that brought in all the sample data from the author (although the menus are listed vertically, not horizontally, so it's a mess). But the slider is still giving me just a spinning wheel with no map showing (map shows up on subsequent pages, however).

Any ideas?

Brig70, your slider is not showing likely because you have no content. A useful way to learn how to use the theme is to import the sample data provided in the archive. The file will end in ".xml". To import this file, go to Tools > Import. You will have to install the import plugin but it will guide you to do so. Once installed, import the .xml file, and when it asks, make sure check the boxes for downloading and importing pictures and data. It will take a minute or two, but once complete, your site will look like the demonstration version you undoubtedly looked at before buying. Hope this helps!

Can someone who sucessfully uploaded the Aid Template assist? I want to make sure I am doing this right. I "unzipped" the file that I purchased. I opened "Do not upload this file to WP" and found the folder "wpaid." I then zipped "wpaid" and uploaded it through "Install Themes" in WP. I installed Option Tree too.

Once the template is uploaded, should the entire site be populated with the sample pics and text?

I've been uninstalling/installing for two days and trying to get this site to work. Right now, I am almost there, but my big issue is not knowing why the slider is not showing. Just this wheel that spins on the home page. I am missing buttons and other items too. Can anyone help? I really need to get this site up and running. http://hundredmilemarine.com
