I'm sure this isn't caused by the theme, but I'm not sure if it's a hosting issue. Sounds more like a problem with your WordPress installation. The theme has no control over you permalink settings, so this isn't something I can help you with.

My best suggestion is to use the WordPress support forums or see if your hosting provider has any suggestions/feedback: http://wordpress.org/support

I see now that the permalink address of each post is http://nextstageagency.com/contact.
There is a button to the right that says "Get shortlink" and when I click it opens a URL box with this address which I cannot change: http://nextstageagency.com/?p=782

If the problem remains, that means it isn't a theme-related issue (i.e. my code doesn't have anything to do with the issue you're experiencing). I've never seen this happen before, so I honestly have no clue why it's happening.

Since it isn't theme-related, unfortunately this isn't something I can troubleshoot for you. I recommend contacting your hosting provider and/or using the WordPress support forums to look for solutions as I don't have knowledge of what is causing the problem (it's not related to or caused by my code).

The link is pointing to your hosting provider 404 page, not a theme 404 page. Did you delete WordPress?

OK, your theme is the only one uploaded now yet it is still happening. All posts are creating a permalink to: Permalink: http://gaylaevents.com/contact. This page does not exist.

By the permalink there is "Get Shortlink" button and when I click that I get: http://gaylaevents.com/?p=48. I have tried to change this but when I hit save it stays the same.

Nothing theme-related (that I can think of) should be causing that to happen. Have you tried temporarily activating a different theme to see if the issue goes away? That will help determine if it is something to do with the theme.

That's very odd. I've never seen that before, so I'm thinking it has something to do with your particular setup.

Do you have additional plugins installed? If so, try deactivating those to see if it addresses the issue.
