Many thanks. I put the code after the opening head tag and it worked. The sub menu items now appear in IE 8 & 9.

May your efforts be rewarded.

It looks like IE9. However, in looking at the Web developer tools, the Browser Mode is IE9 Compatibility View and the Document Mode is IE7 Standard.

It seems to drop down to the IE7 Document Mode automatically. If I manually change the Document Mode to IE9, the sub menu items appear as they are meant to.

Is there a way to stop the IE browser from switching back to IE7 Document Mode? Or making sure that the menu items appear as they are meant to in IE7 since it IE automatically switches?

I have a couple of sub menu items on the main navigation underneath the slider. In IE, the sub menu items are not visible. When you click on the compatibility feature, it shows up. When you click it off the sub menu items appear again.

The disappearing sub menu problem seems to be isolated to IE. It works fine in all the other browsers.

Is there a way to make sure the main navigation works similarly in all browsers?

Here is the site: http://www.nurseschildrenfoundationinc.org
