Hi there,

The latest version of The Daily Press is localized or "translation ready". Converting the theme into another language can be done manually or using a plugin.

Since I've never actually translated a theme (I only speak English), I can only recommend doing a Google search for "Translate a localized WordPress theme" or something like that.

Hi there,

Sorry, I thought you said you figured it out...

1. You should be fine using that size.

2. The background is controlled via the following CSS...

.advertising {
    background: url("images/sponsor_tile.jpg");
}

Just change it to "background:none;" and throw that in your custom CSS panel in the theme options.

You didn't answer my two questions.
Top and footer banner size 726x88 I have made some test with 900x100 px with secondary sidebar desativated and it works ok. Could I have any problem if I use the sizes?
how can I remove the background in grey from top and footer banner.
