I have to give a big "oops" now. You are right about there being
adsense ads on the blog posts. The reason I didn't see them is I
had Adblock Plus running on my browser when I looked for them!

They are displaying just as they should. Sorry about that :-)

Just create a category called "Blog" and another called "Locations", then create subcategories with your locations under category (parent) ID "locations" . Blogs posts should be in the category blog and locations in the category locations / your subcategory.

All the posts blog/locations are displaying ads. You don't see the ads, which browser do you use?

Yes, it's very easy. Just install Quick Adsense plugin. Then on the plugin settings paste the code that fit for locations (i.g: 234 x ...) and another code for blog posts (i.g: 468 x 60 and / or Link Units).

Let's suppose that the 234 x ... code is Ads 1, the 468 x 60 code is Ads 2 and Link units are Ads 3.

Then you need to edit your posts under locations and insert the code for the 234 x ... ads '<!--Ads1-->' before or after the text (or in both places). The same process applies for the link units and 468 x 60 ads, just add '<!--Ads2-->' or '<!--Ads3-->' whenever you want to display 468 x 60 ads or link units. Ads 468 x 60 are recommended for blog posts.
