My temp solution is this in style.css. Just concerned about different screens and browsers.

I have made the adjustments in CSS, functions.php, and to my images in order to change the homepage slider from 700x330 to 400x500. Works fine but slider is now slightly offset to the left. Could you please provide a solution. Thank you. :-)

I changed my slider size and thank you for the Regenerate Thumbnails suggestion! Saved me hours!!!!!! Thank You!!!

After you make changes, you'll need to either reupload the images or use the "Regenerate Thumbnails" plugin.

Also - I wanted to put a link for you on my links section and was curious to what image and web address you wanted me to use and where to link it to...

Hey Chris... i have adjusted those numbers, but to no avail. The slider remains at its native 700, 330... I have replaced the 700, 330 with 800, 426... but am not seeing the results of the change.

I am at a loss as where to look now.

Oh, apologies...

Open up "functions.php" and locate the following towards the top:

add_image_size( 'slider',700 ,330,true);

NOTE: I removed the code you posted. Please refrain from posting entire pages of code :-)

Thank you for the timely response. However, in the Chameleon theme... under the index.php... there are no "$thumbwidth" or $thumbheight" variable...

Be sure to visit "index.php" and update the "$thumbwidth" and "$thumbheight" variables.

Another question. I want to expand the size of the Home page Image slider that you have created.

I have modified the style.css to expand the width of the content (#content & #main) section to 800 pixels....

I would like to display my Homepage slider at a larger image size, and I was assuming that I could adapt the style.css section at

BUT - to my dismay - these number changes are not working... is this not the way to do so?
