Fairly easy, if you know what you're doing. But this is a hack and i would save a copy of everything you change. I am a web designer with HTML experience, not a developer in any way.

I tried pasting the code on the search page into the indexpage itself into the div of the welcome text. so it looks like this.

I am curious how difficult it would be to add a search bar to the homepage? Possibly right where the welcome message would be.
