Hi Justin,
Is it possible to ask for a customization for this? Also, can I instead increase the width of the post on the left s that the youtube links show up in a larger and more appropriate proportion?
Thanks!

Hey Pegu, I'm sorry, it's just not how the theme was intended to be used. I haven't found a plugin that can help, sorry.

Hi Justin,
Thanks for looking into this. I was hoping that the theme was more flexible in incorporating multiple images and videos. Okay, so if we cannot have video and gallery together, can we have multiple videos in the grid at least? Or is that also not possible. Or should I do a workaround where I increase the width of the text part (of the post page) to have more videos underneath it? Or are there any plugins or any other workarounds to do this that you can suggest?

Hey Pegu,

So, adding the Gallery into the content is incorrect. The images get added if you simply upload the Gallery (just like your other posts). Unforuntiately though, the Theme is only meant to have a gallery or a video, not a combo of both. My suggestion would be for you to make a screenshot of the video the "featured image", add your gallery, and then insert the embedded YT video in the content body. The video will display on the left within your content, but at least you'll achieve the combo of both.

Let me know if you have any questions.
Justin

I dont know why this did not get posted earlier but this is what I said:
Is there any way to have more than one video in the post? Showing multiple videos in one masonry grid would be awesome and I was under the impression that it could be done in this theme! :( Anyway, as for the video + image issue, have a look at the test page here: http://tinyurl.com/chymh89 - inserting gallery doesnt help. The images are all skewed weirdly and they are all over the place!

Pegu, that does make sense, thanks for explaining. You can only have 1 Video per post and have it display in the Masonry grid though.

Can you send me an example of the image issue?

It is. Lets say that I want 5 different video links (embedded) to show up in the masonry grid of a single blogpost. How do I do that? Currently, when I embed the youtube links in the post editor, it shows up below the post in that narrow column. Using custom media field, I am able to only show one video link in the masonry grid. In addition, if I try to add images to this same post, the images wont arrange themselves in the grid.

I hope I was able to make more sense this time?

I know multiple images is possible. I also know how to show one video in the masonry grid on the post page. I also can add more video links under the text of the post but that doesnt look nice. When i embed the video code in the custom media field, the images do not show up i the masonry grid- they are superimposed by the video.
I want to be able to have a grid of videos (mixed with the other images) on the post page. Is there a way to do that?
Thanks!

You can add multiple images to a post, but you can only have one display in the Masonry grid, just like the demo. Do you know how to do that?

For the 2nd image, you would just embedd it inside your blog post.
