Hi there,

Yes, you need to create a category specifically for the slider and assign that category in the theme options panel. Each item in the slider is a post, so you need to create a post for each item you want to display.

It seems as though anything I post shows up in the slider. I would like to set 4 or 5 things to rotate through the slider, but have additional posts that only show up in the post section, and not the slider. I don't know how to do that. I notice in your walk through video that you have categories setup, one of which is "slider". I don't have any categories set up at all, shouldn't the theme have done that?

I have put a few images and posts in and set each one as the feature image (dual mode). As I put a new post in and set it as the feature image, it no longer uses the previous image in the slider. I would like to set four or five posts to rotate through the slider. How do I do that?
