Okay, option 2 - Go to Appearance > Editor and the Style.CSS file should open up. Go to the spot that I provided (.entry img etc...) and add display:none; on one of the lines in between the brackets. Save the file and you should be good.

when I go to Theme options under Appearance I have the following options. (logo& colors, slider, social button, countdown, donate, footer. Not sure were "General is and custom CSS. I checked editor and not php files with general and custom Css.

Please let me know where I enter this text.

Go to Theme Options > General > Custom CSS (Optional) and type this in:

.entry img, .entry .wp-caption, img.attachment-thumbnail {display:none;}

This should do it :)

I am saying when I upload a png file with a transparent background to the body of the page not the slider the default is to create a white background and boarder around the image. If you scroll to the bottom of the homepage there is a district map that is png and transparent and has a white box around it.

So you're saying when you upload a .PNG it displays with a white background? Because I opened you .PNG and it didn't look transparent...

Hey there, that's independent of the theme. Can you send me a link to what you're referring to? There is a chance it could be part of the theme, but I need to see what you're referencing.

Hello,

I would like to know how I can add a png image file with a transparent background to a post and not have a white box show up around it. I am using Safari and Firefox and know it is not a browser issue. Is the theme setup to do this and if so how do I turn it off.
