I figured this one out... I deactivated the Read more buttons and then added a link in the title of the post ie. a normal a href tag in the post title and you can link to anywhere you want!

I really need to know how to do this. It's unfortunate that this great theme can't allow custom link redirection from the thumbnail section!

I have inserted the custom field etc. But it's not showing in the final testing, I'm not going to fill out your form in order for this to come in further updates... Because this request has been made from other users as well for a very long time!!!

Sorry, but I'm not totally sure how it interacts with the database. I'm only familiar with the actual functions needed.

Hi,

I have now got the Visit site link to show but the link has no value so it directs to nowhere.

I am wondering is it pulling the data from the SQL database. From searching the database I can't seem to find the table that all the link data is saved. I can't see it in the posts table.

I was wondering if the command <?php if($link){?>">View Site →<?php } ?> is linking into the right table and retrieving the data?

Hare from you soon :-)

You may need to adjust the CSS. I haven't tried this on a live site, so I can't provide too much support for this customization. If you need my help troubleshooting the issue, please use this form: http://www.themolitor.com/customization-quote-request/

What I mean by it doesn't show is the view site link doesn't show below read more link. When I enter a URL eg http://www.google.co.uk and save it. When I view it via the home page it wont show the view site but if I then go back to the post it remembers the custom URL link I have entered. So there is a value.

I would like to add another link that can be edited via the post page.

The thumbnail at the bottom currently says read more. I would like to add another link there that says view site and it goes direct to the sites URL. eg http://www.google.co.uk. I would like it to be a custom field in a post where I add the link. If the custom field is not entered it will not show the view site link.

Is this possible?

Thank you!
