I believe you can only put a Password on a Page, not a Category that displays posts. You may want to look into a plugin like WP-Members. I've had good success with that in the past, but never tried it on B+M.

I would like to add a categorie to a page wich is secured with a password. so only members or clients can login and see part of my portfolio witch isn't public for everybody.
how do i do that?
