Have you added caption text for those images? If you're using the WordPress image gallery, caption text should display automatically.

I would like to show the caption or description to the photo galleries on the page template only. The timelines and posts are fine as they are but http://hoofnpawsamoyeds.com/archive/ this page will eventually have text above the photo gallery. Need to be able to tell user who is in the photos.

Is this possible? And if not...

Is it possible to disable the pretty photo aspect completely so that I can use a different gallery feature like Lightbox (via plugin)? Or will that require customization?
