If anyone else is struggling with a similar issue, I replaced the text in the template under '//SLIDER Stuff' with this:

if (has_post_thumbnail()){ the_post_thumbnail('post',array('itemprop' => 'photo')); }

It may not be correct, but it seems to be working, and this now pulls in the featured image in place of the slider.

Hi there,

Hard coding is definitely possible. Unfortunately this isn't the type of thing I know off the top of my head as this too requires some research, custom code and testing. Hope you understand that support does not include customization services.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris
Thanks for taking the time to respond, and I understand that it's probably beyond the scope of your support. Do you know how I'd hard code an image into the template instead, so it replaces the slider? I'm just trying to think of another way around the issue.
Many thanks
Vicky

Hi there,

Sorry, but that goes a bit beyond the level of support I'm able to provide here in the forums. If it was something I knew off the top of my head I would gladly help, but if it requires a bit of research, testing and custom code then I have to refer you to the customization request form: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Hope you understand.

Thanks!

Hi

I'm needing to add different sliders to different pages. Is there a way that I can do this? Or even just a featured image instead of the slider?

I have created a new page template (being used on this draft page: http://sidefest.co.uk/?page_id=484&preview=true), and need to be able to assign different header images to this page. A slider would be great, but if it's the featured image, that would be fine too. I'm happy to change it in the template code, but am not sure how I would pull in the featured image instead of the slider.

Any guidance would be really appreciated.

Many thanks

Vicky
