Go to Appearance > Editor and the Style.CSS file should be open. Find this #authorBio { and add display:none; as I've shown above.

Okay, revert back the code I gave you before. Here's where you need to make that change:

#authorBio {
padding: 0 0 35px 35px;
display: none;
}

I added "display: none;"... not sure if this affects the site elsewhere, but that should do it.

Forget what I mentioned earlier please, we were talking about two different things.
Your CSS Code deletes the name on the start page and on TOP of the Article in the section, I was referring to the "ABOUT THE AUTHOR"-Section below the FULL article (...read all ...)

This is what I find disturbing.

Can you clear your browser cache and refresh? Adding that code should hide it in both places...

Guys, maybe he is referring to a different thing. I would also like to remove the "About the Author" Section after the actual post, trying this code removes the author name from the landing page, but it is still on bottom of the post once you open it. Can this be changed easily?

There should be a Option CSS filed in Option Tree... if not, you'll need to go to Appearance > Editor and find .metaStuff then add display:none; before the closing bracket.

There is no optional css under the general tab. Is that what you mean?

Go to Theme Options > Custom CSS (Optional) under the General Tab > Enter this:

.metaStuff {display: none;}

That should do it.
