Thanks Chris! Will try the posts thing again.
And as for the sidebar/ footer, I get it - the widgets are added to the footer in this theme. But is it possible to add a sidebar and put widgets there instead? So they'd be more visible. Basically I want newsletter subscription and twitter feed and latest posts on the right side of the page.

Hi there,

1. Have you tried using the excerpt field on the post edit screen?

2. The featured image displays like a poster for movie posts, but for blog/news posts it displays like this: http://themes.themolitor.com/producer/category/news/

3. The footer widgets are coded as a sidebar. WordPress requires certain ids for certain types of content, so the "sidebar" name is used there.

Thank you very much for such a customizable theme!
I am trying to figure out how I could change the way my posts look on the posts page. Would be great if you helped me with it.
1. When editing a single post there is a "read more" feature that you can use to manage how much of each post you want to show on the posts page. But the theme doesn't seem to respond to this as probably it's coded to show the same amount of symbols every time for every post. How can I change it so I could edit it differently for every post?
2. Also I wonder how to add thumbnails to news posts that are not movies and they do not have posters. As I understand it, using feature image only works with poster format.

Another question unrelated to posts. When I browsed through the code there was code for sidebar. Is it possible to switch it on and add widgets there? There is just so much free space on the side that I would really like to use...
