Oh, I guess I got my themes mixed up. Sorry...

jQuery is being loaded from the scripts.js file towards the top. There are comments indicating what the proceeding scripts do. jQuery is the first chunk that is loaded, then the CSS selector engine.

I believe the latest version of jQuery includes the CSS selector engine, so you can try and replace those two chunks of code with the 1.7.1 script.

If that doesn't work, it's likely due to other scripts depending on the current version of jQuery being used in the theme.

Hi Chris, there is no call for google on line 19 of header.php. I found this snipet and placed it on line 19

<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

but its still loading 1.3.2. Any Ideas?

You can change the jQuery that is being loaded by opening "header.php" and updating the google link version from 1.5.1 to 1.7.1 on line 19.

Please note, this theme uses other jQuery scripts by 3rd party developers that depended on version 1.5.1 at the time this theme was developed. It's possible everything will work with version 1.7.1, but you might want to check everything when you make the change.

Hey Chris, do you provide support for your WP Politico theme file - scripts.js?

The jQuery version being loaded is 1.3.2 which has been outdated for a long long time.

Is it possible to replace the code with version 1.7.1?

Thanks Chris, it seems this is the problem: TubePress requires jQuery 1.6 or higher and my pages are running version 1.3.2

I believe jQuery is now up to 1.7.1

I can not find where to make this change, I don't see it in the header or function.php. Thanks, S~

Unfortunately I don't provide support for plugins. The main reason being I didn't develop them and it is very difficult to support the tens of thousands of plugins out there. I see the plugin has a forum. This is the best way to receive support for any plugin issues you encounter.

Tube Press 2.2.9 will not play YouTube Gallery. Featured YouTube video is the only video that will play. Made suggested changes on TubePress forum with no success. Any Ideas? S~
