The lat/long doesn't show up anymore on 2.0.1.

Here's what it looked like in 1.7.3:

Hi there,

Just to clarify, as of version 1.7.0 the custom post options (i.e. lat/long settings, etc) are completely new. The old custom post options data is still on your database, but it's not displayed on the post edit screen.

To view the old custom post options on the post edit screen (in addition to the new custom post options), open functions.php and change the following on lines 119-122 from this...

////////////////////////
//LEGACY CUSTOM POST OPTIONS
////////////////////////
//include(TEMPLATEPATH . '/include/old-post-meta.php');

...to this...

////////////////////////
//LEGACY CUSTOM POST OPTIONS
////////////////////////
include(TEMPLATEPATH . '/include/old-post-meta.php');

After making that change, you should be able to view both the old and new custom post options on the post edit screen.

Regarding the lat/long showing up, can you provide a link to your site? I'll check it out.

Best,

Chris

After review, the 1) is probably a non-issue.
The random pins I tested after updating to 1.7.3 were probably not edited correctly after the 1.6 to 1.7 changes.
I can't edit my first message anymore, but please forget about that first "problem" ;)

Hi,
I just updated from 1.7.1 to 1.7.3.
A few things changed, I don't know if it's bugs or features...

1) The marker's image url are still showing up on the map, but not on the custom options panel.
It's still on the system somewhere, since it's still showing up.
Had the same issue when many things changed from 1.6 to 1.7, so I entered the images anew on 1.7.

2) On every post I set up both the coordinates and street/city, it still works great on the carousel and get directions.
But since 1.7.3 the coordinates are showing up on the single pages (don't think they did before that), between the title and the breadcrumbs...
Since it sits just a few pixels on top of the breacrumbs, it doesn't look like it's been designed for that.

Had a second thought about it and having the coordinates showing up could actually be a good thing, but on another place.
Could it become a feature to show the coordinates as well for people using the address line, with the words longitude/latitude before it, so people know the meaning of the numbers?
Something like:

Title of the page
Home / Breadcrumbs
Details
Latitude/Longitude: 39.455398 -3.606691 (or even more clear "Latitude: 39.455398 | Longitude: -3.606691")
21 Jump Street
Washington

It could be an option somewhere, unchecked by default.
For people displaying the address on the carousel/"get directions" but wanting to display the lat/long as well, it could be a cool feature: they would just have to check that option on the admin panel...
