Are you referring to the category page? That's pretty standard procedure. The category page shows excerpts of the post so that you can determine which article you want to read.

I have another question on "producer"
When I click the "news" menu button, it goes to a page that just says "News", then you have to click again to see the posts....
Is there a way to remove that interim "news" title page, so it goes straight to the posts?

Ok, I did create a WP gallery in the post - but when I click a photo, it doesn't immediately open in lightbox, but instead I have to make 2 more clicks to open the photo in a large size in lightbox?

Is there a way to make the photos open in lightbox with one click from the wp gallery?

For non-video posts like news/blog posts, you'll need to create a WordPress gallery and insert it into the post content.
