I see what you mean. I'll have to review this and potentially update the theme. This is a side effect of having to pull PrettyPhoto out of the theme due to vulnerability issues with the plugin.

You were right. I didn't realize I needed to include a separate plugin to get it going. I successfully added the plugin and the light box opens fine when you click on an image in the gallery tab. However, it is treating the images individually and not grouping them together in a gallery. That is to say, there is no "left/right" navigation to browse through the photos once the light box has opened. You have to close each image and click on a thumbnail again. Is there something else I need to do in order to enable this feature? You can see the issue on the same link I provided before. Thanks for your prompt responses,

I replied in the email I was sent, but i guess that didn't post here. Yes - as far as I can tell I am using the newest version of the the Producer Theme. I'm still having issues with the photo gallery on the Producer them. Looks like they are still set to use prettyPhoto but they only open the image in a new tab. When will this issue be resolved?

Recently it was made known that PrettyPhoto had some vulnerabilities. I try to limit plugin use/dependency as much as possible, so when I heard this I quickly removed all prettyPhoto code from my 20+ themes. This was VERY time consuming and a bit rushed as it was meant as a security fix.

As a backup, I've been working on my own lightbox system (ZoomBox), but it's been in beta this whole time (hence no documentation, etc.).

I'm still retroactively going through my 20+ themes to address the removal of PrettyPhoto. Some themes might not be impacted at all while others may have more noticeable effects as PrettyPhoto might have been more integrated into the theme.

Hope this sheds some lights on the current lightbox-related issues you may be experiencing.

I did notice that on line 52 of the functions.php file there is still a rel=prettyPhoto tag. Since prettyPhoto is no longer included, I am wondering if that could be part of the problem I am having. I am not familiar enough with WordPress, php, or css to know, or know how to correct it.

Just to add a bit more information, the lightbox installed at this time is Responsive Lightbox by dFactory, but others gave me the same results and my URL is http://nubiusmedia.com

Love the theme. But new to Wordpress, themes, plug-ins and all. Been away from web development since 1996. The problem I am having is that whether I use ZoomBox, or a third party plug-in for a lightbox, the image always opens the URL to the image file itself i.e. "http://.../wp-content/uploads/2015/6/*.jpg" This seems specific to the gallery tab within the posts and the featured image thumbnail in the synopsis tab. When I insert an image into the post, the plug-ins (which ever ones I've tried) work.

The only variance that I have seen is that with ZoomBox I do get a image in a lightbox, but without documentation that I could find, and no obvious way to close or advance to the next image.

I am on version number 100.3.9.1 if that helps.

Am I doing something wrong?
