Hi! Video background option for header section would be amazing to have. I've been trying to do these changes by myself with coding and plugins, unfortunately my skills and patience are not helping to get the result I want.

As many others have noted I would also love to see a template created so that you didn't have to scroll down for everything. Would be very helpful on an "About" page.

I think a slide out menu on the mobile version would also be nice as @theatwar suggested. I am currently using a plugin to accomplish this. A slide out menu for the navigation on the main desktop version of the site my also look cool. But, I do like the current desktop navigation that is currently there as well.

Something that I would like to see implemented is to turn on and off sections of the second scroll panel where Synopsis, Gallery, Videos, Credits, and Related are. I don't like having the Gallery there and so I have hidden it via CSS. I would like to see maybe something along the lines of "Awards" put in there as well. We are independent filmmakers and enter our films into film festivals and competitions from time to time. Would be nice to have a spot where we could list our awards or nominations for the films along with maybe images as well.

Please add a non scrolling page option with content directly on top panel.

Theme is great. When the theme is updated, I'd love:

1. As others have requested, a slider-style front page with a grid of videos underneath.

2. 16x9 featured images -- would look much better on desktop websites, as most monitors are widescreen.

3. For when the the site is viewed on mobile devices, I'm not a fan of how the main navigation menu is transformed -- the long bar breaks up whatever graphic you have on the front page -- just feel it clashes with the overall style of the theme.

I'd much prefer the "3 lines" icon that shows up on other mobile WP sites (when you tap on it, the nav menu pops in from the right or left), I think that would look much more elegant on this already super elegant theme.

I would like to second the idea of an IMDB button on the footer social tab, and add to it an Instagram button. I am not sure we even need the MySpace button anymore. :)

Please consider an IMDB button for each project posts.

I love this theme!

But...

"The Producer", a theme made especially for those working in the movie industry, comes without IMDB social button possibility? IMDB is used by far most professionals as the "de facto" portfolio to show off their work. First thing professionals do, when not yet knowing who they deal with? check IMDB!

As such, rather than implementing myspace or linkedin buttons (in my humble opinion, both rather irrelevant for film makers), please give us the mandatory IMDB button.

I know there have been people requesting this before me, but I can't second this enough.

Sending us to the theme customize department is not suitable for a film-movie-video based theme.

It would be awesome to have the option to replace the initial background image on the home page with a full-screen background video. I know that you can embed a little video in place of the text, but I'd love the ability to have that video be full-screen.

I'm working on my site (love this theme, by the way!) and I'd like to add a Blog/News section like you have in the Demo. However, I find it's quite awkward to get to a post's content. Unlike the video/page/category posts where it makes sense to have a "landing page" with a heading and subtitle, the blog or news-style pages don't. Being presented with just the title/time of posting feels redundant. The user who clicked on that article in the Blog list already knows what the title of the post is going to be, they just want to read it.

I'd love to see a way to put the post content in the top panel, rather than having to click or scroll down the page.

Is it possible to add Auto Scroll Feature?

It would be very cool if when I click a menu in the nav... That instead of fading to the title of that menu and popping up the continue button... It would do all that and then in addition it would automatically scroll me down (as if I clicked the continue button)... Another super cool thing would be if we could set a delay on that...

So you click a category in the nav... Then it fades up the title of the category and the description you put for the category there... Then waits how ever long you set and then auto scrolls you down to the post in that category...

Hi, Great theme! I have a few requests:

1. Add a customisable "Back" arrow at the top of each page's main section, with an arrow pointing upwards (i.e. back to main navigation). So, when a user clicks the "continue" arrow, the page scrolls up to reveal the Back arrow at the top of the page. Clicking on the Back arrow reverses the scroll and reveals the main menu again. This will prevent users from getting lost if they fail to realise that the page has scrolled down.

2. The ability to customise the "Continue" text on each screen. Sometimes its more relevant to use other words such as "Projects" on the home page, or "Details" on the posts page.

3. I love the Slider navigation on the home page. Can this be used on other pages (i.e. a "Projects" category page).

4. Make the "previous" and "next" buttons toggleable (able to be turned off).

5. Hide the "Related" tab if there are no related videos.

It would be nice if the background image on the homepage in the first panel could transition between multiple images. Just on a continual loop.

Secondly, it would be nice as well if I could add custom social icons. You have options for Flickr and Myspace but not for widely used Instagram, IMDb & so on...

Oh and on a side note, the social icon inputs for Skype and Flickr are misspelled...

I too would like to request a static page as mentioned by Trisha and the others. This could also include the contact page. Or possibly being able to choose between the panels or static would be even better.

I too am looking for a Gallery type slider for my main page as people are complaint about the scroll feature and need the video in their face immediately….nobody wants to read and then scroll down to look for videos…..HEEEELLLLLPPPPP! I need this on the main page please.

Along the same lines as Trishah's request for non-scrolling page template, my client would like to have the home page be a slider of the main services they offer and contact information without them having to scroll down.

I'd also like to echo my most-wanted feature, as Trishah stated: a way to prevent needing to scroll for certain pages.

Thumbs up for a grid instead of a slider. Also the same for not scrolling on every page.

Another thing, the possibility to make the main video larger as well as other embedded videos on the site.

Also, would be great if we can get a "gallery" style projects page. I'd click to display all videos grid style.

I agree with Trishah's request. I also want to suggest having the option of the Featured Image to be the ratio of 16:9 in addition to the poster size option. Quite a few of my videos are EPKs for clients so I don't have a "poster image" for the post, but I would love to show a screen capture preview.

By the way, this is a fantastic template!

Request For A Non-Continue-Button Template

My client, who is using The Producer, requested to have a couple pages made that did not use the "continue" down arrow. His idea was that he didn't want to keep making visitors have to click to see information like his About Us page.

I was able to create a template/css to did this but it took a while to get it to play-nice in all the responsive sizes. My example: http://paulbudline.com/about/

It would be nice if you offered a page template that was made just for this purpose.
