Strange. Unfortunately this isn't a theme-related issue as it has to do with the built-in WordPress tool (I can confirm there are no errors with the demo xml file).

You might want to contact your hosting provider about this. Maybe it's a premissions issue preventing the demo content from uploading? I'm not sure.

I've tried to do that but I get loads of files come back that just say failed... seems to be the media uploads that fail mostly. Either way it makes no difference to the website. Anymore suggestions?

You can upload the demo_content.xml file from the "import" page (under "tools").

I was hoping it would / I could upload the demo content, so I can work backwards on that? Is this not how the theme works?

Couple things...

1. Please be sure to read the help file included with the theme.

2. You need to create a menu on the "menus" page (under "appearance").

3. You need to add widgets on the "widgets" page (under "appearance").

4. You need to create posts on the "Posts" page.

After that, see if making changes on the theme options panel has any effect.

Ok so I now have that option under the appearance but it still doesn't seem to work...so what have I done wrong then? Why won't it load the xml data? How do I get this theme to work?

With the latest version of the theme, you don't need to do that anymore. You can navigate to "appearance" > "theme options" to view the options panel.

Hi,

I am having trouble with getting OptionTree to work with your lovely theme. I have followed your instructions from both the **help** file and also from watching your videos. After I hit activate on the OptionTree I don't get the next step that you have, which is the 'import/theme options xml' tab.

I have tried deleting everything and starting again, but this time uploading the plugin through the ftp, the same way I uploaded them theme (which says it is working fine i.e not broken) but still no joy?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
