youre trying to install the whole download package, you need to unzip it first, the theme files are located inside please see http://support.envato.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/269/0/my-wordpress-theme-isnt-working-what-should-i-do

Hi
I am having a proplem installing The Curator. I always get this message "The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet." What can I do?

It sounds like you haven't properly set the color value for the accent color. Make sure the HEX value contains 6 values after the "#" symbol (i.e. "#ffffff").

Hi Chris,
Yeap you where right..i downloaded the proper plugin.but I am still getting the same error.
Theme options are there, but I can see where the heck the importer is?
OptionTree->Settings->Import
I will try a reinstall...
Think i will be in touch again.

Sounds like you're having trouble installing the plugin? Unfortunately I can't provide much support with this since it isn't a theme-related issue and involves a plugin I have no development knowledge of for troubleshooting. Maybe try the OptionTree forums? http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/option-tree

Hi there, great them but help please. Did the normal WP install via fantastico.
Uploaded the file "curator" after unzipping by ftp to content-themes. The way ya usually do.
I am getting this:
Fatal error: Invalid hex length in /home/mph67/public_html/djmuseumibiza.com/wp-content/themes/curator/header.php on line 68

"Install and activate the “OptionTree” plugin. After activation, options will be accessible from “appearance” > “theme options”."

Zip the option file and uploaded via the add new plugin? Or straight ftp to the plugins folder? Anyways it is not showing up.
I have re installed WP and getting the same problem.
So a little help please.
