I recently bought the theme and experienced the same thing with the the YouTube link taking me to the YouTube site rather than opening up Lightbox. I was using the short link from YouTube.

Try using the long link instead and it should function normally, opening the video in Lightbox.

its the other way around for me. I cant get the lightbox to come up. Mine takes me to the link in youtube.

the scripts.js file in the scripts folder (Date: Sat Feb 13 22:33:48 2010 -0500) doesn't have any youtube code in it :/

Try changing the following:

"a[href*='youtube.com']"

to

"div#header a[href*='youtube.com']"

Yes, the above will remove the lightbox for all YouTube links.

Open up "scripts.js" and locate the following section towards the bottom...

i am trying to link to my youtube profile from the menu (http://youtube.com/16volt).
it seems like the theme is trying to open a lightbox instead of going to the url.
any ideas?
