Be sure to visit the Customize page (appearance > customize) and be sure you have all your settings configured.

That section specifically requires published posts assigned to a category you specify for the "slider" section (via customize page).

I'm not able to load the page that you linked to. Can you please confirm the links are correct?

Also, please keep in mind some date formatting is hard-coded in certain places. For example, you'll see the following in index.php on line 37 AND in header.php on line 73.

[...]<?php the_time('m.d.Y') ?>[...]

You can manually adjust those using the WordPress theme editor feature in the dashboard.

Hi , my dates are showing as mm.DD.yy despite the theme saying dd.mm.yy , and my date_default_timezone_set('UTC'); being set to date_default_timezone_set('Europe\London');

Unfortunately the JetPack plugin is one of the most bloated plugins available. I continuously have to advise customers to disable it due to causing conflicts and adding extra "stuff" to your site that you don't need (and slows down performance).

Saw this in another post---so I tried turning off plug-ins one at a time, and discovered that apparently the Jetpack plug in broke it. Working fine now.

This worked fine until recently... not sure what happened. But now, when I add a featured image to the home page slider, the image does not load when you click on the sidebar. go to schoolnutrition-ms.org to see what I mean.

Unfortunately my support services do not include troubleshooting this for you. The main reason being I can't effectively provide this service for each of my customers. If there is a problem with the theme, you can be sure I'll address it, but often times the issue is caused by not properly configuring your theme.

Did you review the two items I posted above? I'll need you to review those before I can move forward.

Also, be sure to assign some categories for your home page as well as fill out the bottom section. You can do all that from the Customize page.

I see what you mean. I'm not sure what the issue is, so please bear with me as I troubleshoot with you...

1. Try deactivating ALL plugins and let me know if that has any impact at all.

2. If you've made any edits to the theme files, please revert to a default setup to verify your changes have had no affect on the slider feature.

Let me know if that makes a difference as these are crucial pieces of information I need to know in order to resolve this issue for you.
