How would I update this library to the newest version?

In the "Page Attributes" section, it doesn't show any options for page templates. Help?

I feel like a real n00b with this question, but I am having trouble installing the HUD theme in wordpress. From the wordpress dashboard I have tried Appearance->Themes->Upload-> then uploading the themeforest-96049-hud-premium-portfolio-wordpress-theme.zip file and in a separate attempt, uploading the wphud.zip file that is inside the aforementioned .zip. Each time I get a page that says "Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again"

My host is bluehost.

Hi. How can I change the slider size and position? At the moment it's really small and placed on the left. I need it to be much bigger and placed in the middle. How do i do that?

Back in 2011, a user named mikek2009 asked you how to change the side of the featured slider. You told him to change the CSS. He responded with "Thanks, tried to change the CSS and didn't work except for the frame/outline weight. Found that the settings were being over-riden elsewhere and solved the issue." He figured out the overrides, but I have no idea what they are! Where can I find them and undo them? He answered his own question, which is great, but it doesn't help me in the slightest :(

TL;DR: Basically I'd like to know how to increase the size of my slider, and I don't know where the overrides in the CSS are.

I have a blog on my site. Using the side menu, you can access a category page that lists all my blog posts. Ideally, I would like to be able to do the same thing in the slider, but since categories can't have featured images, I'm at a loss.

Is there any way to link the slider to a category rather than a page?

I'm hoping for help with an issue I am having embedding Twitter widgets into posts or pages in the HUD theme.

The HUD display drops to the bottom of the screen and there is no scroll bar when these are included.

Enjoying the theme. Is so very not Wordpress-y.

I have 2 questions:

1 Is there a way to indicate hyperlinks? In the current configuration there is no way to know text is hyperlinked unless the cursor hovers over it.

2 Is there a way to change the post background so the text can be black characters on a white background? I have found a workaround by embedding Scribd. docs within a post, but wonder if there are other options? Reading large amounts of white text on a black background is tough.

I recently made an about me post and added text on it, but when I click on it thru the menu, it gives me some of the wording and a button on the bottom saying "continue reading" how do i delete that, so when I click on the page it show's everything without clicking on continue reading?

Im just wondering if there is a way to adjust the HUD theme sidebar menu width a little thinner?

Im fairly new to web design, but I recently bought the Hud theme and I tried many times uploading it and it's not coming out right. I tried uploading in thru wordpress dashboard but it's it not letting me. it's saying "Are you sure you wanna do this" and it just closes. I am uploading the right Zip file (wphud.zip). I ended up uploading it thru FTP but now the theme is not showing up right, theres no images and the menu tab is empty. I been searching thru the forums but still haven't found the solution. Please Help Thanks.

I bought your theme but now I have trouble uploading your theme to my bluehost wordpress account. I don't have trouble uploading any other theme but when I try to get the hud theme up it just won't work.

Why could that be?

We seem to have an issue with window size. When the window is small and the page content is too long, the page breaks - the background gets messed up and the flyout sidebars disappear. We changed around a few things on the backend to accommodate a slider we purchased but the problem persists when the plugin is deactivated, so not sure if this could be the issue or not. Tried deactivating all other plugins as well with no luck.

Love this theme but discovered when I began testing it on the iPad that the right menu is extended out and that when you click on it, it moves even more into the middle of the screen. Anything you know of that could be causing this and or can fix it/

I have also checked the path to your images and noticed that it is set incorrectly. For example your website tries to load the image from /new/library/files/2012/05/angels-in-pink.jpg folder and returns error: file not found.

I have searched manually for that image and noticed that the correct path is:

/new/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2012/05/angels-in-pink.jpg

As you can see the image is loading correctly:

You should check the configuration of your template/script and make sure that the path to your images folder is:

/new/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2012/05/

am afraid that I am not familiar with the plugin you are using and I do not know how to change the default path to the images. However, I found a workaround to fix the problem. I have linked incorrect folder new/library/files/2012/05/ to the correct one at /new/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2012/05/ and now your images are loading as expected.

Please clear your browser's cache and check the results on your end.

Are the images directories established when the subsites are set up? Someone on your staff did that for me and it has not been a problem before.

It seems that the problem is with the code used in the plugin that you are using. Please contact the plugin developers and ask them to provide you with the instructions on how to fix the path to the images.

Added built-in thumbnail support (removed TimThumb) and updated code base.

Since this update has significant code updates, the easiest way to apply update to existing installation is to replace files via FTP.

If you've made edits to the template files, take note of them and reapply after update.

I have purchased your HUD theme and for some reason the images won't dislpay although they are being captured in the media library. I have a similar problem with the Navigator theme, where the images don't resize. It's the first time I have this issue with Wordpress and I didn't know if the two were related and due to a unique script or what. I made all the changes outlined here

I have looked at the theme options and cant see how to create a gallery. Do I need to use an outside plugin for this, such as Nex Gen?

I have just restored a site using this theme, and after going through all topics related to slider issues on here are still having problems.

The site used to display the slides when live, and the hosting account and specs have not changed so I cannot work out how come it used to but not now.

I am wondering if there is any other tip or trick I could try, if not the creditionals can be supplied for you to investigate if possible.

On featured slider... have set the sategory in main menu, then posted using the category, then inserted an image into the post.

Wierd. It WAS working before in FF and chrome (but not IE7). But then (stupid me) I decided to delete that post and repost using a new category and then change the category in the main menu.

Now it will only show a white sign saying 'No Image Available'.... hmm... I see a lot of posts related to this on the forum.

Any thoughts on what might be going wrong?

i bought the theme , i post here for help and none answered.where is your support. the theme is not working. i cannot see the slider and i cannot change the background.

Hi, small problem with the featured slider. I created some featured posts and the slider shows up on the home page, but there is no image loading - empty slider window. when I click the empty slider window the link takes me the post page with the image.

I scaled the images to 780 x 400

The site is in a subdirectory right now. I checked the permissions of the script and cache folder and changed them to 777. prior to changing the permissions the main slider window gave a "no image available' window and again the link worked.

Please advise a solution.

I am using wordpress Version 3.3.1, whud version 2.0 and php 5.3.8. I was following the walk through tutorial: http://www.screenr.com/wSm at about 00:54 sec you log in to the back end and you are on the Theme options page. Where do I find this page? In Wordpress I only see after clicking Appearance OPTIONS: Widgets Menus in the Manage Themes Tab. The other Tab is Install Themes.
