On featured slider... have set the sategory in main menu, then posted using the category, then inserted an image into the post.

Wierd. It WAS working before in FF and chrome (but not IE7). But then (stupid me) I decided to delete that post and repost using a new category and then change the category in the main menu.

Now it will only show a white sign saying 'No Image Available'.... hmm... I see a lot of posts related to this on the forum.

Any thoughts on what might be going wrong?

i bought the theme , i post here for help and none answered.where is your support. the theme is not working. i cannot see the slider and i cannot change the background.

Hi, small problem with the featured slider. I created some featured posts and the slider shows up on the home page, but there is no image loading - empty slider window. when I click the empty slider window the link takes me the post page with the image.

I scaled the images to 780 x 400

The site is in a subdirectory right now. I checked the permissions of the script and cache folder and changed them to 777. prior to changing the permissions the main slider window gave a "no image available' window and again the link worked.

Please advise a solution.

I am using wordpress Version 3.3.1, whud version 2.0 and php 5.3.8. I was following the walk through tutorial: http://www.screenr.com/wSm at about 00:54 sec you log in to the back end and you are on the Theme options page. Where do I find this page? In Wordpress I only see after clicking Appearance OPTIONS: Widgets Menus in the Manage Themes Tab. The other Tab is Install Themes.

I've just bought the theme ,and i can't work on it. first i can't change the background(it is white and it is not showing an image , i tried to change from theme options and to put custom picture) and secondly i can't see the slider in first page as in demo you give. please help me it is vary important

I can't seem to get the slider box with photo. All i get is a long solid black box on my home page? is it do i need to load a photo and if so where do i load it if i'm using your template as a site not a blog.

I'm trying to get a portfolio page similiar to your theme preview page, but my portfolio page always winds up with an i-frame. would like to get 6 images and a next arrow like yours.

also, is it possible to add a basic text link menu to the footer of this theme and if so where would i insert this?

I really like this theme and so i went on and bought it, only that i felt stupid afterwards because i should have checked beforehand... for some reason your theme supports using only images and no videos!

I need to upload an entire video portfolio from Vimeo... and for some reason, you HUD theme does not support that. I think that it a perfectly reasonable thing to expect from a premium theme these days!

Now it could be great if you could add this capability - after all, you are using the prettyphoto lightbox alternative script that does come with youtube/vimeo support out of the box.

I guess this could easily be achieved using custom fields -> you can check if a certain custom field has been defined for the post (the custom field that contains the vimeo link, of course) and if it's there - play it in the prettyphoto, if not, display the post image.

I'm willing to help (i'm a web dev myself) plus i think this is a required evolution of this truly lovely theme.

I am having troubles with the main slider. I created a featured category and a few post in this category, but none of them are showing up in the HP. Could it be realted to the reading settings? Since the only thing I see is an empty page I created as Home? How should I set up the reading settings? Please advice.

Hi Chris! Great theme, I love it! One question though, I have been trying to get animated GIF's to work with the Slider. Even resized them to 780x400, the size set by default in the Styles.css, but no go. What do I need to change, or what size do Animated GIF's need to be so they will load and play properly?

However, when I change the bachground in HUD to say white there is some weird discoloration in the top left corner. Why is that?

btw Do you have more documentation or is it just what's in the HELP file?

I bought your theme but now I have trouble uploading your theme to my bluehost wordpress account. I don't have trouble uploading any other theme but when I try to get the hud theme up it just won't work.

Why could that be?

I've bought your theme today and I'm very happy with it.
But I've two questions:

-How do I get my Blog on the homepage?
-How do I get the background chooser widget in the more sidebar?

Is it possible to change the size of the Slider box on the Home page?

Brand new user to your templates, been working in Wordpress for a while though. I went into the sidebar.php to change the "MORE" label on the right side, changed the line "<div id="sidebarHint">MORE</div>" to "<div id="sidebarHint">Special Thanks</div>" but it still says MORE on my site.

Is there some other place I need to change this?

Loving the theme more and more but still trying to figure a few things. Is there a simple easy way to arrange the pages and categories that are displayed in the main menu on the left side of the page? I can omit them from the menu as per your instructions, I just can't figure out how to arrange them in an order I want.

Loving this theme. Just need to tweak one or two things. I don't know if I am missing anything here but when I create a new post and have it in portfolio view or in the list view (accessed from the menu) when I click the thumbnail or the 'read more' link it directs me to a 404 ERROR message and not the post.

Any tips on getting this to work?
