This update fixes an issue with the slider category. Files affected are index.php and style.css (version number only).

I just installed Chameleon and am having trouble with the home page slider. I have read others posts but still have issues. I have set it to the category that I want but it doesn't seem to change the pictures being pulled in. I am not sure where it is getting the pictures it is displaying. Also, the size is very small compared to the demo.

Any help would be appreciated.

Theme options are now controlled by the WordPress theme customizer.

The old theme options framework has been completely removed, so updating should be a breeze. Theme options are accessible from "appearance" > "customize"

TO UPDATE THE THEME:

1. Download the latest version of the theme from your downloads page on ThemeForest.
2. Using an FTP tool, navigate to the themes folder in your WordPress installation.
   

   yourdomain.com > wordpress folder > wp-content > themes

3. Replace the old theme folder with the new one via FTP.

You'll need to re-enter your theme settings on the theme customizer page.

I have a probleme with the main menu, if the target is a page and you clic on it, you go to the page and the label in the menu stay highlight (with the arrow under it). If you use a categorie in the menu (blog for exemple) you have a list of posts with the selected categorie but the label didn't stay highlight and return on the first label of the menu.

Could you help me ?

PS : I test it without plugins and with a fresh install of Wordpress and the result is still the same.

The only problem that I have is with the jquery scripts used in the footer, the menu,... I can't insert other jquery scripts to insert RoyalSlider (photo galery) that I've recently bought. I've contacted the developer and he answered :

"As that file contains multiple JS scripts - you should edit it and delete jQuery core part from it. Or contact your theme developer and ask him to make fix it."

and also :

"You have two jQuery.js scripts on one page :
This issue is caused when your theme or one of your plugins adds jQuery directly with script tag. jQuery in WordPress should be added only with <?php wp_enqueue_script('jquery'); ?>.
You need to find <script/> tag that adds jQuery, most likely it's in header.php or footer.php of your theme, but can be anywhere. And replace with <?php wp_enqueue_script('jquery'); ?>
Usually inproper script tag looks something like: <script type='text/javascript' src='http://some_path/jquery.min.js'></script>"

Would you please accept to help me by updating the jquery script that I need for such gallery ?

I wonder is there a way to have the rollover state on the base tab "Pull for More" stick and stay permanently. I have had some feed back that people didn't know to click it and drag in the first place?

I just purchased this theme. Useless. Wordpress does not recognize it. I keep getting a message "Are you sure you want to do this?" I have looked at countless options online as a way of resolving this to no avail. If this is a problem it should be stated at the outset.

Please, provide a solution or a refund.

Where do you go to add the images for the home page slider. I can get to view but how do you add to that initial image? Also do the little arrows appear when there is more than one image as currently with just one image it is just sitting there (not as the template appeared). Any help would be appreciated. I am on a time frame to get this site up for a relaunch and have no prior use of WordPress.

Hi Again, after much time on google and losing my site temporarily with incorrect code can you please assist me. I want the user to go from my home page post direct to the post and not the category in between where it offers the small image and 'Continue Reading. I only have the one post so if it can direct to my text and all images please.

We have on the home page, Portfolio and under that our sectors of Interiors, Residential etc. which then takes them to one image and the short text. I want to skip this and take them to the single post under each sector - so no 'Continue Reading' at all.

What template file am I editing & what code am I deleting and replacing??

I am not game to try further after crashing my site.

we are placing pictures in a gallery and when the thumbnail image is clicked, we are not happy with the way portrait images are being cropped when enlarged. how can i change this? (landscape images are fine once clicked).

I'm using using WordPress 3.3.2 and theme seems not to be picking up the custom menu. I created the menu, saved it and added a few pages, saved again. But the menu is picking up all published pages in hierarchy order, which is fine but a pain to switch the order and drop-down items. Also when I install an e-commerce plugin that creates new pages, they pop up on menu -- I have to exclude them until ready..

The other forum posts seem to say ignore WP stating there are 0 menus. but it not working...

Hi, not a question but a potential solution for anyone who follows. I've used this forum to help 'solve' a couple of things and thought I'd share.

To making posts show in full, rather than as an excerpt, edit the archive.php file and replace the following line -

<p><?php the_content_rss('', TRUE, '', 35); ?> ">Continue Reading ››</p>

with

<?php the_content() ?>

Thus far the above is working nicely. If I get any adverse results off the back of this I'll come back to update this post.

Hi I don't want to increase the height of the header but currently our logo when resized at the maximum 128px has quite a lot of space around it. I guess this has been done for visual reasons but if I could alter it and make the logo begin at the very top and finish at the very bottom of the header it would not look so tiny. If you go to http://www.brdg.com.au/wordpress/ you will see what I mean. Because we have a grey background in our logo if it blends into the background colour of the header it will be larger and blend nicely.

The second part of my query is at the top of the widget panel is it okay, as a thanks for your assistance and great theme, to have 'Site Theme by The Molitor'.

I've just bought the theme and I'm trying to create the new "Main" menu per the start up instruction. When I create a new "Main" menu (and save it) the menu is not being recognised and the box on the left continues to say "Your theme supports 0 menus. Select which menu appears in each location." It seems such a simple step, and I can certainly create new pages / categories, but something's not working here. Any thoughts?

With the logo am I at leisure to upload the logo to any folder, or is one in particular best suited to the task. Also, what file types are accepted (my logo is presently a png file)? Does the logo have to match the dimensions provided (default height and user-defined width) or will the logo resize to fit the nominated dimensions?
