I have enjoyed Chameleon for a long time. Looks like it is time to move on. What would be a good transition theme that is mobile friendly?

I can't say for sure if the latest version of jQuery works with the custom scripts in Chameleon. Unfortunately, due to lack of sales, the Chameleon theme has been retired and is no longer supported.

Yes, that fixed it. I do suspect that it is coming from the Gallery Bank plugin. I had issued a support ticket with them because my menus where showing through on my lightbox gallery. I bet they made that change...now that you mention it. The menus are fixed but now they are coming back through on my gallery box. But, I realize that is not an issue with your template. I may have to use a different gallery. Can you recommend one that might play better with this theme?

Not sure why it's doing that. Maybe a plugin? Try adding the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

#header {z-index:1000;}

Also, it will only let me hover over and click the first submenu item. When I try to go to the others, it disappears and moves back to the top level.

The menu had been working properly...but today, it appears to want to hide behind things instead of being in front and readable. Can you advise on this, please?

For the Contact Form 7 plugin, it generates a shortcode that you can copy/paste into a text widget.

I understand the process. I was able to successfully get a Calendar in this area. I seem to have an issue with the contact forms though. I have tried 3 different ones. All show to be installed and active....but, none of them will show as a widget available to move to the footer area. Am I missing a step to get them to show up as a widget?

The widget panel is controlled from the widgets page (under appearance). Adding a contact form will require a plugin like Contact From 7.
