I'm now unable to add custom links to the carousel posts... http://soul-purpose.org

I try to add them, but the posts would just link to the default permalink. I added the <a target="_blank" code and now it just opens to my homepage...

This only applies to new posts, all the older posts work find, but I'm unable to update the custom link on the older posts as well.

With the way you're attempting to update the theme, you'll need to delete the older version first.

Personally, I recommend replacing the files via FTP.

Hi, my website is http://www.disasteraidusa.org. I have the WordPress AID Version: 1.2.2 installed and bought the new AID theme. When I go to install it on my theme dashboard, I get the following message:
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. /home/content/a2pewpnaspod05_data06/68/41604868/html/wp-content/themes/wpaid/
Theme installation failed.

I have tried it 100 different ways. Can someone please help me? I called wordpress support and they can't figure it out.

Just bought the AID theme. The front page slider doesnt work - or I cant get it to work. I have no problems with the footer slider.

Looks like the script used for this feature of the theme has either auto or manual mode (not both).

Personally, I do not recommend auto-rotating anything. This has been tested/proven to be VERY bad for the user experience.

However... after further observance, the auto rotate seems to stop on it's now after a while. And, the left right arrow buttons do not advance in either direction.

Hi there,

To give layout control over the position of sidebars, the content structure puts the main content after the sidebar markup. This was developed before mobile/responsive design was a thing, so it was the best solution at the time. Seeing now the drawback, I'll need to review this for a better approach. Unfortunately this isn't something I can provide instructions here in the forums. It's the kind of thing I'll address in an update.

I don't have a specific date for this update, but it is at the top of the features to be implemented.

I would like to change the display order of columns in the mobile version in the template Aid. At the top, I would like to have news article. Below a news article I would like to have the left and right column.
At this moment, the news are displayed on the bottom.
How can I change this?

Hello, I have set categories and have a category for my homepage slider and "Sponsor" for the footer carousel, but the images from my homepage slider also appears in the footer carousel. how can i remove?

Thanks you were right. It was the "W3 Total Cache" plugin.

After activating all the other plugins again the error came back. I googled it and found https://wordpress.org/support/topic/no-theme-css-loaded-2 and followed the suggestions and the problem has gone away.

I'm not sure what that is. It's not anything generated by the theme or WordPress, so I'm guessing it's being generated by a plugin. To rule out plugins as a cause, my best suggestion is to deactivate plugins one-by-one until the notice goes away.

I have the latest version of Aid and Wordpress version 4.5.2.

Everything seems to be working OK but I have just notice the message "No theme CSS loaded" appearing at the top left of the page.

I am not sure if this has been there for a while or only since the site upgraded to 4.5.2.

You can try adding the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

#navigation {
    position: relative;
}

I have not tested this styling, so you'll want to play around and make sure this doesn't cause any usability issues with the responsiveness of the theme layout.
