I feel very confuse because I already made a website with Vysualize theme last year but I deleted it and now nothing is working as it should. Mostly the home page. I imported the demo pages but it doesnt change anything !!

Are you able to explain me step by step what to do please ?

Hi Chris, this seems like a really basic question, but I can't figure out how to generate a full-screen photo gallery page? I have a PAGE set to the GALLERY template, and according to your Help document I "DO NOT need to insert any images or gallery shortcodes into the content area. Simply upload them to the post and you're done"

My problem with this is that in Wordpress 5.1.1 (current) there is no Add Media button! There is ONLY these newfangled 'block' formatting things into which I can insert those images and gallery shortcodes I don't need, and which don't generate a gallery. I don't know how to "upload to a post" anymore?

The next paragraph in the help reads "To control the order of images in the gallery, click the "Add Media" button on the post edit screen and from the "Media Library" tab select the "Uploaded to this post" option in the drop down."
The wording here is confusing to me because suddenly we're talking about Posts and not Pages? Where do posts come in?

In any instance, the menu options described in that second paragraph no longer exist either.

Has a really fundamental part of your theme design been excluded by the new wordpress updates, or am I missing something obvious?

VYSUALIZE makes heavy use of AJAX in order for the music/audio feature to continuously play as you navigate the different pages of the site.

For those unfamiliar with AJAX, each time you click a link to a different page, AJAX allows VYSUALIZE to grab that page content and load it onto the page without having to refresh the page. This is the main tool that allows the audio to keep playing and it also creates a more cinematic experience for users.

There are some downsides to using AJAX. The main difficulty is that pages using custom scripts (or content/plugins that uses JavaScript/AJAX) must have those elements custom loaded in order for them to work properly when the page content is loaded via AJAX.

Implementing these custom scripts is not something that is covered under my standard support services, but you have a couple options: (1) if you're not using the audio feature, you can turn AJAX off on the Customize page or (2) you can enter any scripts you need to load after each AJAX call on the customize page.

Some plugins or custom scripts are more complicated that others. I may be able to help with implementing some plugins (via my customization request form), but you may be forced to choose between using AJAX or using the plugin you have selected.

It seems that any submenu items appear as regular menu items (ie. there's no hierarchy possible in the main menu?) Or could you please advise how to make sub-menu pages so that by clicking on a menu item, a submenu of further pages appears in the main menu? Thank you!

I just updated my Wordpress a week ago and some strange changes has happened to my website.

1. On the video pages (Like this: https://stanleyproductions.dk/miami-n-ice/) the video isnt centered in the middle. Its centered to the left.

2. In the video panel, the video changes position, scale and sometimes bounces randomly. I have no idea how to fix this.

I just installed a plugin called WP rocket, which will speed up my site via caching and combining elements.
Right now its just caching that is active on the site, no minifying or combining.

When i select one of my pages from the menu box, if i then click on the menu icon to select the same page or another page, the homebox is suddenly visible on the loaded page.

I have tried to fix it by looking into the CSS, but i cant seem to figure it out.

Can you perhaps help me with this?

Try going from http://www.stanleyproductions.dk/about click on the menu box and then select "OM STANLEY PRODUCTIONS" then you can see what im talking about

I updated to the latest version of WP today and now my website is all blank. I contacted my web host and they said they saw this "The site shows the following error after enabling WP debug: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/ulrichth/public_html/inembryothemovie.com/wp-content/themes/vysualize/functions.php on line 5 This looks to be related to theme vysualize. Hello again.

After i added a new logo, changed the padding on the logo and added a new video background to my site, the site has suddenly started to freeze on my imac.
It has never done it on my phone or my windows pc.

Before i added the new logo, i didnt use the @x2 feature for at larger logo, but i may think that this is causing the freeze/lag.

Can you perhaps take a look and see whats wrong

You may need to use a device with a larger display, since this problem only occurs on my 5k imac.

Is there a way to lighten up the background video? It feels a little dark to me.

is it possible to add titles to the home boxes. So along with the animations it could also say something like, "menu" "Trailer"" info"?
I'm getting feedback from my client that she loves the site but her demographic needs a little more hand holding when it comes to site navigation.

My website is in two languages, English and Spanish: playloud.org/francoontrial/en. The pictures display fine on the Spanish site, but on the English no pictures are displayed at all.
Any idea what could be causing the problem?

Using Vysualize theme, I have an issue and a wish, both on the Gallery page.
I'm using Polylang to make my website bilingual French + US English.

on http://www.artsnbytes.com/gallery page, the above English version doesn't display the gallery images, only an empty background. At the same time, the French gallery (http://www.artsnbytes.com/galerie) works perfectly. both WP gallery code content are the same.

It used to work until yesterday, and suddenly Damn. Off.
What's the hell ??!

Any though our similar experience ?

On the other hand, my wish would be to get a little more space (length) to display image titles and legends. Didn't find where to tune it in style.css.
Any idea ?

What could cause this problem?

I have a question regarding the background video on posts.

On the page: http://stanleyproductions.dk/category/productions/
You can see the work i have done, and the video plays in the background.
But when you go on specific posts, like this: http://stanleyproductions.dk/vig-festival-2017-torsdag/
Then you have the option to watch the video in that small window, where the background video will confuse the audience.

Is it somehow possible to insert a picture or disable the video on post pages?
And is there a easy method to do so?

Please bear with me, I am a complete newbie to any kind of coding.

I am hosting on GoDaddy. I have recently moved hosting to an upgraded php server that can take advantage of Wordpress. With that in mind I bought the Vysualize template.

I installed WP into a folder and created a temp domain. In order to do that you have to spec a started theme to be changed later.

I successfully uploaded the Visualize Zip file along with the Zoom Box zip.

After the Vysualize theme was installed, it appeared as a choice so I chose.

When I go to edit the theme the layout looks nothing like the theme I bought. It had elements (foo pictures) of the initial default theme and the same menu structure.

I also get this error message, just under the header:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function ordered_header_images() in /home/bukworx1/public_html/BlahBlahBlah/wp-content/themes/vysualize/footer.php on line 18"

I conferenced with Godaddy tech support and they suggested that I may need to change some of the php variables available with a “php.ini”.

I am hoping for a simple solution related to the initial install.
