I couldn't get the plus button to work for me without inserting the images, but I got around it by using the classic-editor plugin. I guess I'll just have to jump back and forth between the two modes going forwars, thanks.

Using the new blocks editor, you should be able to upload images from the "+" button. Just remember you do not need to insert the images into the post.

Regarding wording, a lot of WordPress features relate to posts/pages equally, so there may be some confusion about that.

One other solution is to install a plugin that reactivates the classic editor: https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/

Hi Chris, this seems like a really basic question, but I can't figure out how to generate a full-screen photo gallery page? I have a PAGE set to the GALLERY template, and according to your Help document I "DO NOT need to insert any images or gallery shortcodes into the content area. Simply upload them to the post and you're done"

My problem with this is that in Wordpress 5.1.1 (current) there is no Add Media button! There is ONLY these newfangled 'block' formatting things into which I can insert those images and gallery shortcodes I don't need, and which don't generate a gallery. I don't know how to "upload to a post" anymore?

The next paragraph in the help reads "To control the order of images in the gallery, click the "Add Media" button on the post edit screen and from the "Media Library" tab select the "Uploaded to this post" option in the drop down."
The wording here is confusing to me because suddenly we're talking about Posts and not Pages? Where do posts come in?

In any instance, the menu options described in that second paragraph no longer exist either.

Has a really fundamental part of your theme design been excluded by the new wordpress updates, or am I missing something obvious?

And that fixed my problem :)

It seems that any submenu items appear as regular menu items (ie. there's no hierarchy possible in the main menu?) Or could you please advise how to make sub-menu pages so that by clicking on a menu item, a submenu of further pages appears in the main menu? Thank you!

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "lead people on your theme if they use computer..." Can you explain?

Just to clarify, background videos are not supported on mobile devices. That is a device setting that cannot be overridden, so if you're utilizing the background video (not the videos you click to play, but just the background video specifically), I strongly recommend moving that to a forefront video (accessible via clicking a play button).

your themes look really really really great on computer but on tablet and smartphone it doesnt give the same looking because video is not available... So is there any solution to lead people on your theme if they use computer and on other pages if they use tablet or smartphone ?

please please please tell me there is solution about that because i bought 2 themes from you but most of my customers are using smartphone so i really need a solution to continue to use t=your great themes (i dont want othere themes, i like only yours!)

If you use the proper method for adding videos, all that should be done for you. In other words, I'm not doing anything special with the demo site. I can't really override browser-based restrictions, so we may be limited in controlling what you're experiencing on your site.

Google chrome doesnt allow any autoplay video but with your themes (visualize and vysual) it's work very well, so I would love to know what to do to make any video work int that way !

Video backgrounds are not supported for the 3 "home boxes".

For the main video background, please review the "Video Background" section of the Customize page (appearance > customize).

Then add that CSS that you passed me and it was fixed.

I visited your site again and still see plugins installed. I noticed one in particular:

[...]plugins/youtube-embed-plus/styles/[...]

Not sure what you need that for. It appears to be adding additional styling to the site.

In any case, try using the following in your Custom CSS box (on the customize page) to override the added CSS...

#play-box iframe,
#play-box video {
    top: 50% !important;
    left: 50% !important;
    max-width: 90% !important;
    max-height: 60% !important;
    width: 800px !important;
    height: 450px !important;

}
