I have changed the rest of the message as shown in this forum, but I don't know how to remove this groups.

Love the theme!

I noticed that there is no 'next' button for users to click on if they want to read more blog posts. Once they've scrolled to the bottom of the screen, they're only limited to reading the number of maximum posts on home page I've set.

How can I add a 'next' button at the bottom of my home page so readers can keep reading more posts in the past?

I really love this theme, well thought out and beautiful.

Would really appreciate if someone could help as we are stuck with a minor issue.

Added boot strap 4 to header but the index page (posts page) compresses the 2 posts about half the original width.

Any way to fix this?

Hello, I have been loving this theme for several years. It is time to change the php version for my websites from php 5.6 to php 7.2. This seems to break the admin dashboard for The Novelist.

Hi there,

I am wondering if I can reposition the zoom arrows on each post. I added a plugin to remove the "Posted By" stuff and when I did, it shifted the zoom over the titles of my posts (so that I am unable to read the title clearly on each post).
Perhaps I should remove the plugin altogether and seek help from you on how to remove the "Posted by uncategorized ..." which will not effect the zoom.?.? Whatever you suggest. I am ALL EARS..and eyes. :) I see that my Zoom Stuff begins on line 246. I will not touch anything until I hear from you.

If possible also translate in Italian only the "continue reading" at the end of the post excerpts.

First, thanks for an amazing theme. I am only now beginning to explore the possibilities, but I have a couple of questions, which are linked.

I have added my first blog post, and uploaded media. However, the image is not visible on the front page of the post - ie, the blogs page - I can only see it when I click 'Continue Reading'. I have also set a static front page, and made the 'Blogs' page the default for posts, not sure if this would affect it.

Secondly, how do you centre the image at the top of the page, so that it spans both columns, as per your own sample site for Novelist? This functionality can also be seen on the front page of http://www.theinterludehouse.co.uk.

I am using this theme to upload poems.
The theme is working well for my purpose. However, in the Home page listing, the formatting is changed.
Poems need to be in the same format as they are written, unlike aricles and stories.
You would undertstand this if you have a look at the individual poem page and the home page.
For example, have a look at the poem sleep on the Home page excerpt and the individual page. Links below.

However, I would like to manage the multicolumn. I have a problem with chrome (which does not appear with IE and Firefox).
I have a post with two images of same size. In other browsers, the display is balanced (one image on the right column and the other on the left)
But on Chrome ... problem. The two images appear on the same column ... I tried several "tricks" to move the second image, in vain.
I would like to know if there is a code to force any element (image, text block) to appear in the next column ...

I would have some questions about the dispatching of the articles.

Since now, i have noticed that the all the articles dispatch automatically according to a chronological order. So that the first thing i see on the screen when i open the site is all the articles - which annoy me.

Hi, no matter what photo I upload for the background image (including ones that came with the Novelist theme) it is so dark as to be almost impossible to see. Is there some sort of setting doing this? Please explain in layperson's terms, I don't know coding! My site is ilonabraylit.com.

My About page link on the main menu only works intermittently (usually not) on my PC (it seems to work better on phones).

Most menu items work, but the one right next to Home usually sends me Home instead of to the page I am selecting.

I have tried deleting the Page and starting over, I even created it with a different name (About TfH).

When I hover over it, I also see that the URL target is the main landing page (again, usually).

I am trying to have some static text at the top of my home page (both sides, even as I may change other text. So, I put the text in an image.

However, the image always gets resized smaller than I would like it to be. I want it to line up with the paragraphs of text below (see link).

The Posts page has a nice wide writing area, and the Default Template (that is the only one available) is narrower. Is there a way to set a page to use that layout?
