Of late, I'm facing some issues with my site https://mareenasrecipecollections.com/. The latest 15 recipes are the ones affected. On laptop, when each of these recipe pages open, the left column is not displayed. On the mobile, only the header image is visible..nothing else. On reaching out to WP support, they suggested that I reach out to the theme developer as the issue seems to be related to the theme.

As noted on that plugin page, you can use the new plugin they have available: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin

Please note, plugins are not a core feature of this theme. Any use of a plugin is optional and not something I provide support for. This is simply because I cannot guarantee the quality/availability of 3rd party plugins.

That was a plugin-dependent feature based on "favorites" users have selected/bookmarked. If you have the recommended plugin installed/activated, you also need to have posts that have been bookmarked in order for the "popular" section to appear.

Unfortunately my support services do not include troubleshooting customizations like this. If you need to perform a "reset", the best approach here is to delete The Kitchen Table theme from your wp-content/themes/ directory.

Regarding color changes, that can all be achieved via CSS edits in your Custom CSS box on the Customize page. If you need help with these edits, I'll have to ask that you submit a request for custom services as customizations are not covered under my standard support services: http://themolitor.com/custom

Okay, I think we're slowly making our way back to a viable website...but in all the confusion, I seem to have blown up my "popular" button. Any suggestions on how I can get that back? Hi, I'm not sure exactly how I managed to do this, but I seem to have completely destroyed my version of the Kitchen Table and I'm not exactly sure how to fix it. My sticky widgets are gone, my menus are across the entire page, and it just looks like...a mess.
I've tried uninstalling the theme and seeing if reinstalling it does anything but that seems to just compound my issue. I am NOT a web tech, so I know there are clearly steps I'm missing and something I must have inadvertently deleted that I shouldn't have.
Long story short...how do I completely wipe out the theme and get it to start over from scratch? Sort of a factory reset?
I've looked into it online but all I can find is how to completely reset my entire Wordpress account and I DO not want to do that.
I love how the theme looks and I'm so sad I mucked it up so badly.

Great template! I want to add a third custom post option in addition to recipe time and serving size. How can I do this? I saw an old thread that gave instructions before your update where you added the post-meta.php file. I tried adding the new option as a third array in post-meta.php but it broke the site. Are there other files I need to update as well to get it to work?

Hi there,

Please review the languages/kitchen.pot file. In there is the line reference for all English words in the theme files.

For example, you'll see this in there...

#: ../footer.php:12
msgid "Back to Top"
msgstr ""

This means "Back to Top" is located on line 12 of footer.php

I would like to translate commands like "next" to go forwards in the posts or "back to top" to go up in the page. Also the options in the recipes "servings" "featured" or the content in the search site button "search site"

One downside to the import process of WordPress is that it doesn't account for a number of things. One being plugin-generated content. The demo form is just the default/basic Contact Form 7, with the subject line removed.

Regarding the header, can you provide a link to your site? I'll check it out.

Regarding the sidebar, unfortunately there are multiple elements involved (i.e. widgets, sidebars, main content area, etc.) that have an impact on the width and layout of the entire page and background. Not to mention the responsive styling for mobile devices.

All this would require some research and testing to effectively change. I was able to make the header prominent. The only issue I'm having is that the entire image is not visble. Is there any aspect that needs to be taken care of?
As mentioned above, I would like to reduce the width of the left column widget. Please let me know what needs to be done.
