Hi Chris, I updated to WP 5.5 this evening and my category entries are no longer loading on the front page. I tried all the usual plugin deactivations and even rollbacks to try and troubleshoot, but nothing seems to work. Could there be an issue with the theme and this version of wordpress?

Just this week I noticed that the little magnifying glass that brings up the box where people enter search terms quit working. When I hover over the tool, the box never appears and clicking on the magnifying glass only brings up a random search.

Hi there; I purchased the Daily Press Theme but my Adsense code seems broken --- I copied the code and input it in the space given for the Theme Options but on the Header and Footer, it shows the Adsense Link instead and the ad input in the Secondary Column isn't active - the only active ad is that on the Primary Column. This is where I have installed this theme. I like how the landing page has all caetgories listed.

I would want the same format on another page. That is I want two landing pages.

So, when I click on say, something like this https://wokejournal.com/category/world-news/ -- I want it to display just like the home page is displayed instead of how it is displayed now.

1 - i do not see a sign up/Register page or link for user to be able to register or subscribe to the blog and become contributor or author. Or the theme is not intended to allow users to sign up?

Help! When new users sign up they automatically become administrators. I am "Protected" by wordfence and had them do a scan and provide assistance about a month ago. They said that somehow this had been selected, and they put it back to "user" but it just happened again, and this time I didn't seem them listed as new users and someone was actually able to publish something in Hungarian. I deleted it, but I need to know what to do to stop this from happening. I went in this morning and found 2 additional people signed in as administrators.

Somehow, my homepage became broken, isnpect element says:

I used the instructions from another post telling me how to increase the paragraph font size. Now I'd like to increase the font size for the captions as well. My readers and I have old eyes and so we'd appreciate a larger font. :-)

I have tried three times to import the demo content for The Daily Press but get the same problems as a result.

1. The import times out.
2. The post content looks nothing like the demo content should. All the posts look garbled and I searched the posts for demo posts that are listed in the demo site and couldn't find any. Quite frankly, it looks like the demo file got compromised.
3. Categories are imported, but there are no posts assigned.

We really need to start out with the site looking somewhat the demo.

The import was done using a fresh copy of Wordpress without any plugins. Once it failed the first time, I provisioned a fresh copy of Wordpress again and tried the import again. Same thing the 3rd time.

Please help!

I have a couple of questions . . .

1. Is it possible to make a sticky post for an older post? I would like an older post to now, always, appear as the first or "Featured" post.

2. For quite a while the Top Navigation Banner wasn't needed and I used CSS to hide it. But after deleting the CSS, I can see the Banner in the Dashboard but not live. Any thoughts?

The comments section no longer appears below the posts of any of my posts. They were there yesterday and now they're gone. I'm running Wordpress 4.7.1 and have Wordfence installed. I did a scan but found nothing that way. Can you help?
