I am trying to use two different plugins that make use of custom post types, and featured images for said types:

Setting featured images in both plugins is completely broken - they both behave erratically and do not ultimately let me set featured images on the posts.

Disabling all plugins does not help, but switching to Twenty Seventeen does, so it seems to be an issue with Politico.

Any ideas?

I've reset the countdown on the home page many times before. However, this time, when set to 11/08/2016 6:00 AM in theme options, it continues to display the "Finished Message." Help?

The thick blue bar and main menu’s background image are cut when you open your theme in mobile application.The same problem occurs in your live preview too. See below screenshot. What’s the solution to fix this?

Is it possible to adjust the size of the featured images thumbnails? Great graphics don't look so great when chopped off by a square template like this.

I'm a happy costumer, compliments for your products.

I have a problem for the first time.

I bought the Politico Theme in 2013. For the first time, I would like to upgrade the theme to the latest version.

What is the best procedure to do it?

I did the following:

- rename the old folder from "wppolitico" to "oldwppolitico"
- uploaded via FTP the new folder named "wppolitico"

The problem is that with the latest version of the theme all the graphics elements (ie: the gray and blue backgrounds) looks all messed up.

If I activate again the theme that now is on the folder "oldwppolitico", the old theme stil loads properly.

Have the HTML theme and all pages populate but the index.html. It only shows the background. pbc40.org.

Please advise. And how do I get rid of the color picker that pops out off the left. it's annoying.

Can anyone tell me which "Politico theme" file i need to edit to change the font/colour of text on the Menu navigation buttons.
ie: When i mouse-over menu buttons, i want it to change colour not just Bold out.

The slider continues to slide to the next post when playing an embedded YouTube video in the slider itself. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening other than having to select the start/pause button?

Also, is there a way to slow or speed up the time of transitions in the slider itself?

I purchased this theme but never used it. I just went back to try to download it and it said the file was no longer available. Is there a way to get it?

and then somewhere else i'm reading something different to get posts to appear on home page... what is the correct way to get them to appear and can you explain in detail how to set it up.great layout but this is the only thing i'm having a problem with.

My logo-file is in the media library, a png-image. OptionTree is activated. allow_url_fopen=ON in PHP.ini. GD-module enabled in PHP (required for getImageSize() function to work). The image URL is linked to the file. But still not able to get the logo show up. In the overlay, the "Send to OptionTree"-button is the only option. When I click this button, the overlay turns white and nothing more happen. I have also manually typed in the path to the the logo image in the input-box, to no avail. Obviously, a blog-theme for this particular field of work without a logo, is not an option. So what is the next step?

I purchased this theme from ThemeForest, and can no longer download it, is there a way I can get this theme again? I really liked using it, and want to be able to use it again for one of the projects I am working on.

When visitors to the site click on the slider image it takes them to the slider image post, however I really want them to go to a particular "page", not post. Is there a way to make it go to a specific page, or as an alternative, make it not-clickable?

As im gona use long titles, i want two lines title option.
Would that be possible?
I've already tried decreasing font by 16 but the 2nd line doesn't stay within the blue stripe.

I'm trying to style a specific custom menu link and have got it right in Chrome and FF, but it's not working yet in IE. At the site above, the "Get Help" link next to the red "Support Vets" button.

Could you please take a look and let me know what i could do to get it to be consistent in all browsers, or at least drop the silver background in IE?

I have setup a custom page as my default but the slider still shows up. I do not want the slider to display at all on any page. How can I do this? I tried the "replace index with post html" but that didn't work.

I currently have WordPress 3.4.2 and OptionTree 2.0.9. I am trying to add the countdown to the site and when I hit "Save Changes" I get redirected to a 404 (page cannot be found) error page:
wp-admin/options.php

and my settings are not saved; countdown not added.

I viewed some other posts on the site and have seen suggestions to downgrade to OptionTree 1.x but am unsure if this will solve my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have created four slides for the nivo slider, and it will only show three. I've adjusted the number of items to show, and it isn't doing anything. Can you have more than three slides? If so, how can I get it working?
