@behljasm - I resolved my issues for now. Examining other sites that worded I realized I needed to roll back my wordpress version to 5.2.12 and things are back to working smooth! I used this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-downgrade/ and it went very smooth. I would recommend doing a backup and database backup in case there are issues.

Hey there, I'm having the same issue. Been noticing it for a while now but the client's site I used this theme on hasn't really used it lately. (So it wasn't a big problem) He's about to release some new music and material and I'm trying to get this theme back working properly.

I hope there is a solution to this issue. I really like the theme.

@behljasm - Are you having an issue with the music player as well? The theme broke down in that way for me as well.
I'm thinking it's due to when wordpress changed their editor but not quite certain.

The slider has also stopped working.

This theme just broke down and now the recent post is open by default on the home page covering half the screen. Any fix for this?

Hello The Molitor,

I bought Nocturnal template 4 years ago and everything works fine until now.
The problem is on the Homepage and News, when I go from the Home to the News page using the menù it works fine, but if I'm on the News page and I click again News using the menù the whole layout page freaks out.
This problem appears in the Home too, the only way to solve this graphic problem is refresh the page.

I updated WP to the most recent version and PHP too. It probably depends on the code where there are two issues. Please can you take a look?

Using WordPress features, you can add specific class names to a specific menu items (via the "menus" page/editor). With a class name assigned, you can apply custom CSS to change the style of that item.

On the top menu (wp-aid) I want to change the text color for one single menu item (to highlight it from the rest). Please advice me on how to do this...

For the "mini slider", try turning it off via the checkbox on the Customize page. Save changes, and then turn it back on (saving changes again).

Thinking maybe it just needs a reset for that on/off setting.

thanks for your help, the zoom box plugin works just fine.

Regarding the slider, I have a category set named "Featured". Whenever I publish an entry in this category it will show up in the theme customizer but not on the published website. (the mini slider is set to the category "Featured" and the number of slides is set to "1").

Sorry for the delay.

Please keep in mind the import/export process is 100% managed by WordPress and not anything theme-related. For this reason, I may be limited in my ability to troubleshoot this issue as it likely relates to your hosting restrictions on downloading/uploading content in this way.

The good news is you don't really need the demo file. The theme is mainly built using posts with featured images and standard pages.

The featured slider (slider underneath the logo) only shows up on the Theme Editor.

Next I can't create a gallery that links to the lightbox. (check http://kulturbetrieb-zappa.org/mieten/)

I appreciate any help, though I know this theme is kinda "old".

File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

Previously I kept on receiving afail to upload error notice.

My best suggestion is to login to your site via FTP or cPanel and delete the old theme and then upload the new version. Make sure you make a backup of the old version of your theme just in case something goes wrong.

If deleting your old theme makes you nervous, another option is to rename the old version of the theme. This will allow you to successfully upload the new version of the theme.

• Login to your site via FTP or cPanel and navigate to wp-content/themes/ and find your old theme.
• Rename your old theme something like “theme-old” (replacing “theme” with the name of your theme).
• Upload your new theme.

The old and new versions of the theme will both appear in the themes interface, but you will be able to distinguish them by their folder names and version numbers.

Hi Christopher, I'm trying to update the theme to a mobile responsive version by re-downloading the file in my downloads on themeforest. When I try to upload the new .zip file to my themes, it says "Theme install failed". Do I have to delete the old version before I can install the new one? I'm worried that if I delete it, and the new one still doesn't work it will seriously mess up my website? Thanks, Nick.

The right column uses the post excerpt box on the edit page. You can put all your content in there for it to display. Just be sure it's not too long.
