Justin, yes, the post is then in the "news" category. BUT, how does one get it to show up on a specific page on the website with part of it showing up on the Home page, just because it's now in the "news" category? There isn't a way to set a category for a page, unless I've missed something else, which is very possible. LOL.

In your Demo, the Blog page is a page. So how do you get those posts to show up on it? How do you tell certain categories to go to certain pages?

I can create categories, I can create posts, I'm better with the slider--I can even do both the nivo and dual sliders now, just as though I knew what the heck I was doing--but I just don't get how to point specific categories at specific pages, though I understand selecting categories for specific links and posts.

HELP!

She's baaaaack. My site still has no actual countdown happening. I have just the default option data. My understanding from the write-up was that this would produce a countdown toward Nov. 2, 2012. If that's incorrect, just let me know. Do I have to look elsewhere for an actual counter?

For the second problem, I find in the sidebar that there is a lot of wasted space above and below the RSS widgets I've installed, making the pages longer than they really need to be. There's also a fair amount of wasted space above the footer widgets. How can I change these areas?

On the other hand, the "leave reply" comment form seems to be RIGHT UNDER whatever last item is on a page, leaving no space whatsoever! How do I add a line or two to make this looks a bit better?

I have my "main" category which is the big image on in the middle. I want it to scroll between the posts. Instead it stacks the on top of each other. For instance, I have 2 posts in the category "main." Instead of two pages you can flip between its one long page. Any ideas?

Nevermind...I'm an idiot.

Okay, cool. You can open your Style.CSS file and find the following:

.block small {
background: url("images/icon_calendar.gif") no-repeat scroll 0 center transparent;
display: none;
font-size: 14px;
padding: 0 0 0 20px;
}

What I added is "display: none;"... this will hide that info for you. Make sure you're copying a true copy of the CSS before you modify it.

Good luck,

Hi,

I am enjoying the theme! I am currently working with an offline environment to develop my wordpress theme. Blog images and the logo are having no issues showing. I have uploaded a background image to the media library. I've taken the image's path and applied it to the OptionTree panel's background image URL. I continue to see a silver background in all of my posts/pages/entries. I have tried multiple paths, I have refreshed caches and tried in multiple browsers.

What could the problem be?

Hi there,

There are no designated areas for category descriptions in the theme design (category example from demo: http://themes.themolitor.com/photopharm/category/blog/ ).

One option is to create a description widget and then use the "display widgets" plugin to only have that widget show on the category you want.

If that doesn't suite your needs, you can submit a request for this customization here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Hope that helps!
