Hi - I appreciate Brick + Mason is an old theme but I'm still running it at http://www.acambridgediary.co.uk and would like to update my logo that's on the header. The facility to do that under Customise Theme is no longer there unfortunately. Is there a simple alternative to do this? I'd be very grateful. Thanks from the UK :)

I just upgraded to WordPress 3.6 and lost a few features of the B+M theme.

First, I lost the "slideshow" effect in PrettyPhoto. When I click on one of the images in a blog, the image is loaded but there are no navigation bars (or close button) to move to the next images in the post. The only way I get back to the post is using the browsers back navigation button.

Second, I lost some of the behavior of the infinite scrolling. My blog page (and other pages) now only load the original 8 "panes" which is the number I have set in my defaults. I know this was a problem at some point because of the browser window size but I could not get it to load more when I changed the size of the window. The loading circle keeps on churning too. Finally, the image "panes" don't line up like they used to. In the past, the size of each pane seemed to be independent and the theme fit these "panes" together nicely based on their visual size. Now there seems to be a default space (image + padding + etc) than now constitutes a unit and the theme fits together these larger units resulting in large areas of white space.

Some details about my site: Currently I am using 1.1.3 for my theme. I did download 1.2.1 and installed that with no changes in the above behavior. I had to switch back to 1.1.3 because my css customization was completely lost when I edited my dark themed css file. Note: I added the exact same block of code that I used in 1.1.3. I am setting up a new website and re-discovered the Brick + Mason theme which I have bought a few years ago. I installed the latest version 1.4. The homepage is set up to show the latest 50 posts. When I load the homepage it shows 20 posts to start. When I scroll down I see the small circling icon in the corner, then a few more posts load. This goes on until I count 60 posts in total, then it stops loading more posts. Right now I have about 125 posts though. How do I load the rest of them? Even a "next page" link would be ok.

We add images to our posts by going to media, attach, select post.
When images are enlarged it is using the post title and not the image title, caption or alttext.
Have a look, everyone of of the images on this page has a different title but they only show the page title on the enlarged image not the image title: https://www.theflacks.co.za/birds/cape-vulture/.
Please let me know how to make this possible?

Our site was rolled back after hosting changes and I'm looking for fix up our menus. When I got to edit Appearance>Menu it simply brings me back to the home page after I hit save changes. No changes are saved. http://www.jamesdavidsonarchitect.com.au

Hi, I checked back on my site this week and none of the post headlines are showing on the homepage timchester.com - any ideas? WP is telling me "The OptionTree plugin is required for this theme to function properly. Install now." but clicking on install now it says it's up to date. Any help appreciated - thanks

Hi, I've been using your brick & Mason theme for a while now and love it - thanks. I have a question though which I hope you can help.
If you go to my website at http://www.acambridgediary.co.uk and click on any post (they are all photographs by month) and then click on any picture, there is no forward or back button to browse that month's pictures. What happens is that it opens a window with just that single image and you have to use the browser to exit and then go back through the whole process to select and view another picture. I'm sure this function was there before but it seems to have disappeared.
Do you have any advice please that might restore the ability for users to browse forward and back?

Each post is showing multiple images, despite there being only 1 featured image selected.
The posts display old featured images etc.
Can you fix, or please refund my money.

Just a little query: Is it possible to run the Main Menu items down the header as opposed to across?

I would like to change the post layout of my website (p.e. http://www.elenaroncoli.it/cretazione-prossimi-appuntamenti/) because there is too much white space. Is it possible to change the disposition of text and images?
Moreover I would to use a gallery plugin (p.e. Nextgen) for the images. And I would like the text on the left side of the page, and the gallery on the right side (now the gallery appears at the bottom of the text).

I am trying to make work lightbox but it is not working. I have look up on the forum posts but in footer.php file there is no prety photo code as you were suggesting to change in an older post.

I tried to install zoom box but when you enlarge the image you cannot scroll the image to see it it just zoom in in the middle of the image and you cannot scroll around.

Before the update the theme used to work fine, I have erased the theme and all plugins and reinstall again but still not working, here is the website address so you may take a look.

I just posted about lightbox not working. I purchased the B+M theme this morning, having used it once before for a friend. I decided to try her version of the theme, and that one worked just fine. Very frustrating. I just wasted two hours trying to get the version I bought to work.

Does something need to be fixed?

I'm having issues with the spacing. On your template there is white space below the thin line that appears under the top navigation and the top of each page. On my version there is no space and the images seem cut..

On the main page when more blog posts are loaded onto the page they pile up at the bottom, i.e the image of the next blog post will be ontop of the one above's text. please check http://www.filemporium.com and when you scroll down you can see what is occurring. Can anyone help sort this issue?

Hi, Just uploaded latest version of B+M. And prettyPhoto isn't working. When I click on an image, it just opens in a new page.

I've used this template before and haven't had this problem. Also, if you want to delete a photo from a post how do you do it?

v1.3.0 theme options are now controlled by the WordPress theme customizer.

The old OptionTree framework has been completely removed, so updating should be a breeze. Theme options are accessible from "appearance" > "customize"

TO UPDATE THE THEME:

1. Download the latest version of the theme from your downloads page on ThemeForest.
2. Using an FTP tool, navigate to the themes folder in your WordPress installation.
   

   yourdomain.com > wordpress folder > wp-content > themes

3. Replace the old theme folder with the new one via FTP.

You'll need to re-enter your theme settings on the theme customizer page.

Version 1.4.0

This update adds responsive support ("Mobile-friendly") as well as other code improvements and optimizations.

All files have been updated.
