1ICLiGJhbC9NCRsBGl5TVkU3L2FjaC8wLzM5AAAAAOfn5-tkLXA= I would like to take the opportunity to thank my wife, Christine, for helping me get the “Page & Plant Award” in Guitar Hero 2. This achievement is earned by getting 100% notes hit on a song in co-op mode. Easier said then done…

We spent at least a couple hours trying to get 100% on a song. It was a combination of Christine missing the early notes and me missing the very last notes. Once we made it about half way through a song, we both got really anxious. Her fingers started sweating and I started to crack up with laughter because I always enjoy it when Christine gets stressed out over an xbox game (not that I haven’t done it myself).

The first song we got 100% on was “Reptillia” by The Strokes. Now, you may be asking yourself, “isn’t that a Guitar Hero 3 song? I thought you got the achievement on Guitar Hero 2?” Yes, you are correct. We spent 2 hours trying to get this achievement when I already had it on GH3. At that point, Christine gave me a grimacing look as if she was saying, “YOU STRESSED ME OUT FOR AN ACHIEVEMENT YOU ALREADY HAVE?!?!” She didn’t say that though. Instead, she kindly replied, “I’m going to bed.”

Saturday morning rolls around and I asked her if she would help me get the achievement on GH2, which I didn’t have. She agreed and we were off on another Guitar Hero adventure. I believe the song we got 100% on was “Message in a Bottle” by The Police. We both played on easy to guarantee there wouldn’t be any surprises along the way (even though she is comfortable with playing on hard and I like to dabble around on expert).
