not in everything does venom have a crazy tongue but though that is very common for venom i think when the new generation of comics came out venom was given the insane looking tongue.

It looks like the Alien because, as I’m to understand, they used Giger’s Alien when photoshopping the five or so frames from this sequence.
This shot was denounced pretty much straight away from the big wigs at Sony.
Why would Fox TV air fake images during a Spider-man 3 special with actual actor interviews? It appears to be pretty official to me. Empire movies seems to think so too.
Ah, well. I might be wrong. (In this case, seems I’m very wrong,) but the pose that venom is in is very similar to the fan trailer from early in the year.
If Empire’s saying it’s real, then it probably is. (Wouldn’t trust Fox with my dirty laundry though).

Looks a little like the alien from the movie Alien.
I think the look of Venom was created before the Alien movie. I’m not totally sure though.
Venom is supposed to have a crazy tongue which I don’t see in any of the pictures.
Venom appeared in 1988 Alien came out in 1979.
